Association of Auxiliaries

More than 1,200 members between San Francisco and San Jose host events and run businesses benefitting Packard Children’s Hospital. Collectively, Auxiliaries contribute
$1 million annually toward uncompensated medical care. Individual members donate significantly more.

The Auxiliaries Endowment, begun in 1999, has contributed more than
$6.1 million toward equipment, launching new programs and services, funding clinical research, and providing important new space in the Hospital’s planned expansion.

Allied Arts Guild

Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary

The Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary owns the historic Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park, featuring stunning gardens, unique shops, artists' studios, and the Blue Garden Café. The premises are open to the public Monday — Saturday for weddings, business meetings, and other events. For over 60 years, AAG members have also staged Tally Ho.

In 2009, Charter members relocated their thriving rummage sales to a larger location at 1228 Douglas in Redwood City. Charter’s loyal customers and donors have followed and many new ones have joined the flock.

Whether writing an award-winning cookbook, hosting their popular monthly Restaurants with Heart series, or producing the beloved American Girl Doll Fashion Shows, Palo Alto members approach Hospital fundraising with unrivaled creativity and fun.

Roth Auxiliary

Roth Auxiliary

The only Packard fundraising Auxiliary inside the Hospital, Roth members manage the Gift Shop. Once or twice a month the shop is proud to offer the work of artist Lynne Glendenning, a member who volunteers her time to personalize gifts for free on any purchase over $10.

Since 1932, Auxiliary members have presented The Jewel Ball, a black-tie extravaganza and notable San Francisco tradition. On November 3, please join us for the 60th Annual Ball, Kaleidoscope of Jewels, at the Fairmont, featuring gaming, dancing, and silent and live auctions.

Successful does not begin to describe the Thrift Box, a resale store operated by the Auxiliary since 1942. Along with its popular Pumpkin Patch Boutique fundraiser in October, San Jose provides major funding for uncompensated care.

The annual Game Day tradition continues with a festive lunch, incredible prize drawing and an afternoon of games in June. The Auxiliary hosted an Oktoberfest-themed event which guests were invited, but not expected to attend - a 21st century virtual fundraising party.
