Packard Summer Scamper
On June 23, 2012, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital hosted the 2nd annual Packard Summer Scamper. Drawing more than 2,400 participants in its second year, this popular event held on the Stanford campus is an excellent opportunity to engage employees while giving back to the community. Bank of America
True to its corporate culture, Bank of America and its employees have been committed to supporting Packard Children’s. Since 2004, Bank of America has provided grant funding for several of the Hospital’s programs. In addition, associates from Bank of America have coordinated several activities in cooperation with the Child & Family Life Services team. In April 2010, the Bank of America team assembled more than 100 Easter baskets to deliver to patients, and in June, a team volunteered time at the Hospital’s 20th Anniversary celebration. Most recently, Bank of America employees visited children in the Dialysis Center and the Forever Young Zone to help them with art projects.
