Breaking New Ground launched in 2007 with the ambitious goal of raising $500 million for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and child health programs at the Stanford School of Medicine. Thanks to remarkable support, we far exceeded our initial aims. By our finale in 2013, the philanthropic community had committed nearly $550 million to improve the lives of children and families locally, nationally, and globally.
