Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a member?
All you need to do is to contact us and indicate that you have named Packard Children's in your estate plans.

What if I don't want people to know about my estate plans?
You may still be an LSPS member. We are happy to honor your wish to be anonymous.

Can I still be a member if Packard is only a contingent beneficiary in my estate plan?
Yes, anyone who has made a provision in their will or trust that supports Packard Children’s Hospital is welcome to join. You just need to let us know that you have made such a commitment.

Why is it called the Lucile Salter Packard Society?
Lucile Salter Packard believed that all children deserve the highest quality care and the best chance for a healthy future. It is in her honor that we named our society to recognize donors who include the hospital in their estate plan.
